Personal information of visitors (name, address, phone number, email, etc.) is processed and stored in a manner that ensures third parties do not have access to it. PAYMENT & PURCHASE INSTRUCTIONS

Purchase Instructions

All services displayed on the https://ecoboats.me website or the Android and iOS EcoBoats apps can be ordered by selecting the Pay by Card option. You will be required to enter: card number, cardholder's name, card expiration date, and the 3 or 4-digit CVV number from the back of the card.

Upon successful payment, you will see a purchase confirmation page and receive an email containing:

  • Transaction status, unique Order ID, date, and time.
  • The exact amount paid, card type, and the last 4 digits of the card.
  • The bank's unique authorization code.
  • A generated electronic ticket with a QR code used for service identification and boarding.

Payment Methods & Data Protection

Payment can be made using MasterCard, Maestro, and Visa cards that support online payments. Card processing is realized in cooperation with AllSecure doo and Hipotekarna Banka AD Podgorica through the secure AllSecure Payment Gateway.

  • Data Security: Sensitive card data is encrypted using SSL protocol and advanced tokenization methods in accordance with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. Credit card details are never stored on the merchant’s system and are never accessible to EcoBoats.
  • 3D Secure: All transactions are protected by 3D-Secure global standards, ensuring the safety of your purchases through mandatory bank authorization.

Currency Conversion Statement

All payments will be made in the official currency of the Republic of Montenegro – EUR (€) . The amount charged to your credit card will be expressed in your local currency through conversion at the exchange rate provided by Visa/MasterCard. Due to this conversion, there may be a slight difference from the original price listed on our website.

VAT Statement

VAT is included in all listed prices, and there are no hidden costs.

CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & RECLAMATIONS

Complaints & Refund Procedure

All payment confirmations are sent automatically to the email address you entered during purchase. If the Buyer is entitled to a refund based on the conditions listed below, the request must be submitted by sending the original digital proof of purchase to info@ecoboats.me

Once approved, the refund process will be initiated. The period for carrying out the withdrawal of funds cannot exceed 14 days from the date of the initial email request.

Important Refund Rule: In case of an approved refund, the funds will be returned exclusively to the same card/bank account that was used for the initial payment.

1. Cancellation by the Passenger

Passengers can cancel or reschedule their booking under the following conditions:

  • More than 48 hours before departure: 100% refund.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before departure or No-Show: No refund shall be issued.
  • Rescheduling: Free of charge if requested at least 24 hours prior to departure, subject to availability.

2. Cancellation due to Force Majeure

  • Definition: Force Majeure includes extreme weather conditions (storms, fog, high seas), safety orders issued by the Port Authority, and other unforeseeable events beyond the Carrier's control.
  • Rights: In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeure, the Passenger is entitled to a full (100%) refund or a rescheduled departure.
  • Limitation of Liability: The Carrier shall not be held liable for any consequential damages or additional expenses incurred by the Passenger (e.g., accommodation, missed flights) resulting from a Force Majeure event.

3. Technical Failure (Vessel Breakdown)

  • In the event of a technical failure preventing departure, the Carrier shall attempt to provide alternative transportation or an alternative time slot.
  • If an alternative is not available, a full (100%) refund will be issued. The Carrier’s liability for any resulting damages is strictly limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.

OPERATIONAL RULES & JURISDICTION

1. Fiscal Receipt and Passenger Obligations

  • Fiscal Receipt: Pursuant to local tax regulations of Montenegro, the Passenger is obligated to retain the fiscal receipt (or digital proof of purchase/QR ticket) for the entire duration of the voyage. It must be presented upon request by the crew or authorized inspection authorities.
  • Safety and Conduct: The Passenger must strictly adhere to all safety instructions provided by the crew. The Carrier reserves the right to refuse boarding to any person under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, without the right to a refund.
  • Liability for Damage: The Passenger shall be held fully liable for any material damage caused to the vessel or its equipment due to intent or gross negligence.

2. Jurisdiction

Any disputes that cannot be settled amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court at the Carrier's registered seat (Tivat), under the laws of Montenegro.
